The origin
It started with a simple observation: people are terrible at estimating the cost of their time. Not because they don't care, but because they can't see it.
We noticed that teams would agonize over a $500 software purchase while casually scheduling a 90-minute meeting with 12 people - a decision that actually costs more than three times as much. The software has a price tag. The meeting doesn't.
That asymmetry - visible costs get scrutinized, invisible costs compound - is the foundation of most organizational waste.
So we decided to build tools that fix the visibility problem.
