These Terms of Service are being finalized. The terms below are a working draft and will be updated before our Chrome Web Store launch. Please check back for the final version.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Multipl.tools products and services, including the Burn Counter Chrome extension and the multipl.tools website (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Description of Services
Multipl.tools provides software tools designed to help organizations measure and reduce operational waste. Our current product, Burn Counter, is a Chrome extension that calculates real-time meeting costs based on participant compensation data you provide.
3. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of compensation data you enter into the extension.
- You must not use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- If you create a Premium account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must comply with all applicable laws regarding the collection and use of compensation data within your organization.
4. Privacy
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your data. Key points: compensation data is encrypted locally and never transmitted to our servers.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Premium subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
6. Intellectual Property
The Services, including all code, design, and content, are owned by Multipl.tools. You retain full ownership of any data you enter into the Services.
7. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Meeting cost calculations are estimates based on data you provide and should not be used as the sole basis for financial decisions.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Multipl.tools shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services.
